Presented in clear and accessible language, Roberts offers the listener a voyage through the stages of human knowledge. He then examines the outstanding mysteries of modern physics, the phenomena that lie outside the borders of our current understanding (dark energy, dark matter, the Big Bang, wave-particle duality, quantum tunneling, state vector reduction, etc.) and suggests that the next step in our intellectual journey is to treat the vacuum of space as a superfluid - modeling it as being composed of interactive quanta, which, in a self-similar way, are composed of subquanta, and so on.

With this proposition, Roberts imbues the vacuum with fractal geometry and opens the door to explaining the outstanding mysteries of physics geometrically. Roberts' model, called quantum space theory, has been praised for how it offers an intuitively accessible picture of 11 dimensions and for powerfully extending the insight of general relativity, eloquently translating the four forces into unique kinds of geometric distortions while offering us access to the underlying deterministic dynamics that give rise to quantum mechanics. That remarkably simple picture explains the mysteries of modern physics in a way that's fully commensurate with Einstein's Intuition. It's a refreshingly unique perspective that generates several testable predictions.

I thought it was an easy read. I'v e had two years of calculus and a year of college physics, but the concepts here a mind twisting. Although there is not that much math, he tends to use a jargon that is more familiar to physicists.

Einstein Intuition Visualizing Nature in Eleven Dimensions (Audible Audio Edition) Thad Roberts Jonathan Farkasofsky Books Reviews

I have not finished reading this yet, but I am part way though. My understanding of physics is quite limited, but I have a somewhat better grounding in philosophy. My true passion is social science, and the philosophy of social science. What strikes me most about this work is that it gels very well with theories that I find most compelling in my own discipline. In particular, it seems to fit well with the theories that I find most parsimonious and compelling, but that also have yet to gain widespread acceptance in mainstream cognitive science. This book represents, for me, an honest and deeply creative attempt to respond to the most fundamental questions of any science the questions of what exists, and how we can know what exists? In addition to tackling deep mysteries, this work also represents a challenge to the politics of knowledge production. Roberts has made a deliberate effort to render accessible a subject matter which is generally understood to be off-limits due to its complexity. So far, I am profoundly impressed with this book!
Googled after I bought it---this guy stole moon rocks from NASA???? Must have got money to write this book from the "Sex on the Moon" book. Anyways his"quantum space theory" is classic crackpot! He should be jailed again for this crappy book! Little scientific value here folks. Sad!
Is Thad Roberts an intellectual maverick two decades ahead of his time or a P.T. Barnum like showman who lacks the credentials to be taken seriously?

Take Einstein, universally regarded as in intellectual maverick. Einstein didn't just come up with his theory of relativity in isolation. In 1905, the same year that he published his theory of Special Relativity, he also published two other papers that revealed his genius and won him the Nobel Prize.

Thad Roberts nothing. His accomplishments include stealing lunar rocks from NASA to impress a girl (which he promptly slipped under his mattress so that he could write a book about having sex on the moon), stealing fossils and writing this book while incarcerated. So much for the intellectual maverick.

You can find a better use for your time.
Interesting and thought provoking!
Wouldn't it be nice if reality was taught to the world!
Great book about the intuitive nature of the universe. Easy to understand how nature works without the mantle of a mathematical background in M-theory. Let's you get back to how Einstein thought about the universe without being religious.
First and foremost, Roberts’s nonpareil enthusiasm for understanding leaps off the pages of Einstein’s Intuition. His book is imbued with an awe for the laws of nature, and the ideas presented challenge the current limitations of an understanding of physics that is built around a model of physical reality in only four dimensions (X,Y, Z, and time). To make his case for a new way to conceptualize the underlying structure of the universe, Roberts retraces how the current thinking on the matter came to be. Time and again, Roberts elucidates the episteme of scientific understanding at certain periods in the past as he presents the history of the developments of past scientific concepts. Through rich examples of the history of science, Roberts demonstrates how the best conclusions in the past fell short. In so doing, Roberts makes the case for open-mindedness, rather than dogmatism, regarding mainstream thoughts about science today because those beliefs could be proven to be incomplete or incorrect in the future.

Roberts guides readers on an intellectual journey to reach his conclusions, and the tone of Einstein’s Intuition is accordingly heuristic and without hubris as Roberts explores a vision of the universe beyond the Euclidian confines of the traditional 4D view of physical reality. Roberts’s thinking outside the box of Cartesian coordinates is a refreshing break from the limitations imposed by groupthink on the commonly accepted views about the geometry of the physical world. Einstein’s Intuition describes a universe in which space-time is quantized, and the geometry of the this substructure leads to plausible explanations for phenomena that have previously been hidden behind the weasel word of "force," like the weak nuclear force, or that have been written off as being mysteries that the human mind will never comprehend, such as Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. Roberts’s hypothesis about the geometry of physical space on its smallest scale, and the axioms and theorems that follow from that structure, appears to offer explainable values for the constants of nature, which is a characteristic that is sadly missing in the attempts at grand unified theories proposed by other theorists. Furthermore, by stepping outside the confines of the Copenhagen interpretation, Roberts’s description of physical reality in eleven dimensions appears to reconcile numerous gaps between the theories of quantum mechanics and general relativity.

If Roberts’s array of hypotheses are correct, his book goes beyond simply addressing flaws in the traditional frameworks of scientific understanding. It could very well be an example of iconoclasm on par with a Kuhnian paradigm shift. The ideas presented in Einstein’s Intuition could lead to a sea change in the comprehension of the hard sciences. Furthermore, if Roberts’s ideas are correct, his findings may carry over into other fields of study, and would impact our understanding, not only about the world around us, but also about ourselves and the human condition.

Note to interested readers The audio book is of limited utility because the visuals are critical for comprehension.
